Artist's Statement

The universe someone once said is not made up of atoms. It is made up of stories. My Little Stories are drawn from life experiences, dreams, while awake or asleep, from my own life, and others.

As one who has always lived mythically, I value the importance of ritual surrounding life’s Big Events: birth, death, marriage, a loss, a change, triumph, disaster, an awakening.

It is my hope that the viewer will sense that this work is made, as Joseph Campbell says, "in a state teetering somewhere between fun and earnest."
